The latest in the fleet!
My next endeavor is to tell the stories for each bike I have owned in my life. Sounds easy but there are a few. I'm hoping those who love bikes and those who don't can appreciate the people, places and events surrounding this passion of mine. Above is my most recent purchase from today. I'll give you the story later. For now good night and stay tuned.

Looks like a sweet ride, Pat -- should be great to spin those pedals down some lonely road.
Garth had a good thread going about past bikes we've owned...perhaps you'll find some inspiration there.
So you took the dive and went roadie on me eh? Scary scary!
Hi Jer, Sad part is that I'll be spinning those pedals indoors on the trainer for a few months now. It should be a rocket at 17lbs. Theres a few groups of roadies here in Steinbach that I know and can ride with this summer. Garth will be in soon although he's still resisting. That said you can't take the mountainbiker out of me just yet. The road is mostly for getting the legs tuned for next race season.
I read the post and comments on past bikes and it was all good. Great memories attached to sweet pieces of metal and rubber. I'm hoping to focus on the people and relationships formed and valued around bikes I've owned.
Garth, You know you'll have to buy a road bike now! You're not the type to be left out on something like that. Just think how far behind you'll be if Jason Hiebert and I start pounding out the miles on our road bikes. No pressure though:)
